Das deutsche high-end Sneakerlabel nat-2™ präsentiert die weltweit ersten veganen Sneaker aus Holz. Gemeinsam mit Manufactum wurde eine exklusive Farbkombination entworfen.
Das Ergebnis sieht alles andere als Öko aus.
Die Schäfte der 100% veganen Unisex-Sneaker sind – je nach Modell – bis zu 90% mit echtem, nachhaltigen Holz überzogen.
Das verwendete Holz wird auf organische Baumwolle gezogen und vektor gelasert, sodass das Material weich, biegsam und flexibel wie feines Nappaleder wird.
Die Haptik ist glatt und zart, während man das Holz riechen und seine individuelle, natürliche Textur erkennen kann.
Das verarbeitete Holz stammt aus Respekt vor dem gesamten Ökosystem aus ausschließlich aus ethisch und nachhaltig bewirtschafteten Wäldern. Das Material ist zertifiziert, was die Rückverfolgbarkeit und Herkunft des Holzes garantiert.
Das patentierte Material und der fertige Sneaker sind zu 100% in Italien hergestellt.
Produziert wird unter fairen Bedingungen in einer neuen familienbetriebenen High-Tech Manufaktur.
Die verwendete Holzart ist Ulme.
Alle Schuhe sind zu 100% vegan und mit einer weichen, antibakteriellen, gepolsterten Echtkorksohle ausgestattet. Der Klebstoff ist frei von tierischen Inhaltstoffen und die Laufsohlen aus echtem Gummi. nat-2™ typische Applikationen sind reflektierend und / oder irisierende Details für eine bessere Wahrnehmung bei Dunkelheit und bieten eine futuristischen Look.

Vegan wooden sneakers by nat-2™ x Manufactum ®
German high end sneaker brand nat-2™ presents the world’s first vegan wooden sneakers. Together with Manufactum an exclusive colourway was designed.
The result looks anything but the usual eco stuff.
The 100% vegan, unisex sneaker’s uppers are made from real sustainable wood, which covers up to 90% of the shoe’s surface, depending on each style.
The wood is applied to an organic cotton and vector engraved in a way that the material bends and becomes soft and flexible like a fine nappa leather. The feel is very smooth and fine, while you can smell the wood and see the tree’s natural texture.
The wood used to create the fabrics comes exclusively from ethically managed forests and with respect for the entire ecosystem. The material is certified, which guarantees the traceability and origin of the wood.
The patented material and the final sneakers are 100% made in Italy and produced under fair conditions in a new family-run high-tech facility.
The type of wood used is elm.
All shoes are 100% vegan and equipped with a soft padded, anti-bacteria real cork insole. The glue is free from animal ingredients, the outsoles are made from real rubber and the nat-2™ signature reflective and/or iridescent details for a better visibility and a futuristic look.
The collection includes four different low top and high top models for women and men in various colours and wooden tones.
