The journey of LOVR starts on a field, more specifically with a hemp plant. It is grown for CBD products. We use the crop waste as the base for LOVR. Our trusted agricultural partners supply us with their by-products.

With LOVR, we have developed a process to produce a leather-like material from a wide range of fibrous agricultural residues. In our production process, we only use plant-based materials: No fossil fuels, no plastic, and no harmful chemicals.
LOVR is 100% biodegradable and climate-neutral.
To advance our research we have partnered with the Technical University of Darmstadt. Together we develop methods and machinery that act as a bridge between the agricultural and textile industries.
The 100% vegan, unisex sneaker’s uppers are made from real sustainable recycled cannabis leaves, which covers up to 50% of the shoe’s surface, depending on each style.

All shoes are 100% vegan and equipped with a soft padded, anti-bacterial real cork insole. The glue is free from animal ingredients and waterbased, the outsoles are made from real rubber and the upper features nat-2™ signature reflective glass details for a better visibility and a techy look. The parts looking like suede or nappa leather are made from recycled PET bottles. The special Lining is made from a German engineered and produced from anti-bacterial and antiseptic bio-ceramic featuring an air-condition like feel and function.

The 100% vegan, unisex sneaker’s uppers are made from real sustainable recycled cannabis leaves, which covers up to 50% of the shoe’s surface, depending on each style.
The Cannabis leaves come from sustainable grown hemp plants. The delicate structure gives a feeling of nature while the total look of the sneakers is an homage to festivals and freedom.
The leaves vary in sizes and get applied to a natural eco-flax-layer and got the natural flower scent. The feel is one of a kind , while you can see the material’s natural texture. No artificial substances are used. Every pair is naturally unique.
The patented material was developed in Germany and Austria, while the final sneakers are 100% handmade in Italy and produced under fair conditions in a new family-run high-tech facility.
